What Are the Fees and Consequences for Cancelling a Holidu Booking?
Cancelling a confirmed booking on Holidu and other partner platforms (such as Ferienwohnungen.de, Google, Hundredrooms, Spain-Holiday, Sportihome, Urlaubsguru) may result in fees and penalties, depending on how far in advance the cancellation occurs. These fees are outlined in your Holidu Host Agreement and are intended to compensate for guest disruptions and cover any necessary relocation costs.
Cancellation Fees Based on Timing
According to your Holidu Host Agreement, cancellation fees depend on the time between the booking confirmation and when you submit your written cancellation request to our customer service team.
Holidu Cancellation Fees
- Within 24 hours of booking → Minimum fee of €50.
- Up to 7 days from booking → 10% of the net payout (minimum €50).
- 8 to 15 days from booking → 20% of the net payout (minimum €50).
- After 15 days from booking → 30% of the net payout (minimum €50).
If the cancellation fee does not fully cover the cost of relocating the guest, you may be responsible for additional expenses, which will be communicated to you after the guest's check-out.
